I'm sure I'm not alone in this, but I'm glad that you're doing what you're doing, in the same way I'm glad Rory is, and the gang at Rogue Iron Game well as other pre-changes era folk. Keep up the great work.

“Hey guys. The cut from 20 to 10 was a little soon.” -Everyone
“I hear what you’re saying. The first cut was too soon” -Greg
“*crickets* *sighs*” -Everyone

Personally, I think the final cut to 10 competitors should happen for the very last event. That way the top 20 or more get every chance for 4 days to get themselves into the top 10.

This year's cross fit left a bad taste in my mouth. This sounds like a good change and I'm glad they are being vocal about quickly.

I LOVE this! Not only what the strategy is, but the fact it's actually been communicated!! We're making progress guys 😅👍

I am happy that 1) they are listening and making changes 2) making decisions now and getting info out early

Good signs for upcoming season

Is there any coverage of the masters? I really miss seeing older people doing fitness extremely well as opposed to seeing that old chap on in his basement getting up and occasionally moving his water bottles.

I am so glad that CrossFit is being proactive this time around. The athletes will be able to prepare much better for this. I love this change and will be fun to watch! Hopefully they let the top 20 compete a bit longer too. Thanks for the great coverage!

Once again breaking news early, your hard work and effort is very appreciated. Your positive outlook through the 2019 process was an example of how much of a pro you are. Keep it up

particularly looking forward to national champs having a full year to prepare for "let's not get dusted in the first round" - like Rocky-style not get dusted

To me this just means we’re prolonging the time of competitors who still shouldn’t be there. You’re telling me that going into day 2 there will still be 120+ athletes competing? We are now basically turning the first 2 days of the Games into Regionals. Why? To make the Games more inclusive? The whole point is only the best should go. This is just further favoring ‘show’ over ‘test’ It’s becoming more and more glaring that the games are not really going for ‘fittest on earth’ The scoring system was already skewed to favor later events and eliminating athletes with better overall finishes from the competition in favor of a ‘best recent finish’ outlook. Who cares if you had too 10 finishes in the previous 4 workouts, you came in 17th on this one, cut. Continuing to allow more events with greater numbers of athletes, then changing the scoring system to something else entirely skews the test and results even further. You can be exited, I’m just not cool with the watering down of the competition and it’s stated objective.
